The concept for the new trains pays tribute to “La Dolce Vita”, a historical period of glamorous and artistic fervor in Italy during the 1960s.
In collaboration with Orient Express, Trenitalia-Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato and Fondazione FS, with a fleet of six trains and iconic itineraries, the La Dolce Vita Orient Express will welcome its first passengers in 2025.

Guests will embark on luxurious carriages through reserved routes crossing Italy from North to South.
Three international itineraries will also connect Italy to Paris, Istanbul and Split, travelling across eight countries.
The La Dolce Vita Orient Express train will take travellers across the wonders of the Italian cultural heritage and countryside to discover the «Made in Italy way» and its world-renowned peculiarities.
