A new frontier in the luxury hospitality market by rail.
The concept for the new trains pays tribute to “La Dolce Vita”, a historical period of glamorous and artistic fervor in Italy during the 1960s.
In collaboration with Orient Express, Trenitalia-Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato and Fondazione FS, with a fleet of six trains and iconic itineraries, the La Dolce Vita Orient Express has welcomed its first passengers on April 4, 2025.

La Dolce Vita Orient Express Lounge
In the heart of Rome’s Ostiense station, La Dolce Vita Orient Express Lounge welcomes travelers of La Dolce Vita Orient Express into a timeless and sophisticated setting.
Designed by artist and architect Hugo Toro, the lounge blends contemporary aesthetics with 1960s Italian glamour: mandarin lacquered ceilings, art deco details, and neon lights inspired by vintage train interiors turn every moment of waiting into an experience of pure Italian style.
