QUALITY SPECIALIST

What We’re Looking For

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing dimensional, visual, and functional checks on components, subassemblies, and installed systems, both during production and final testing.
  • Conducting incoming goods inspections in the warehouse, verifying the conformity of materials and components with technical specifications and supply documentation.
  • Verifying process compliance with technical requirements, drawings, and reference standards (UNI, ISO, EN, etc.).
  • Preparing technical documentation and quality control reports.
  • Collaborating with Production, the Technical Office, and Suppliers in managing non-conformities and corrective actions.
  • Carrying out inspections and tests required by PFCs in the areas of preparation, carpentry, painting, outfitting, testing, and product delivery.
  • Actively participating in internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or university degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, fire prevention, lighting, doors, etc.).
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality control techniques.
  • Experience in warehouse acceptance checks, including verification of technical documentation and certificates of conformity.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and, preferably, IRIS standards.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, precision, and teamwork attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the railway sector.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Business Central Navision, SAP).
