SENIOR CONTROLLER

Arsenale Group, a multi-brand company that develops and manages assets in the luxury hospitality and lifestyle sectors—offering comprehensive services to the world’s leading and most renowned hospitality operators in synergy with top international Luxury Hospitality brands—is seeking a Senior Controller.

What We’re Looking For

The Senior Controller ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the Group’s financial reporting processes, monitoring financial commitments to both external stakeholders (lenders, banks, shareholders) and internal stakeholders (management, finance departments, other corporate divisions). The role involves producing reliable forecasts, delivering high-quality reporting, and supporting decision-making processes through robust financial analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the consolidation of Group financial data by ensuring proper collection, verification, and reconciliation of information from different subsidiaries, guaranteeing data consistency, completeness, and accuracy to support periodic closings.
  • Manage financial planning and analysis activities, including the collection of budget and forecast data, variance analysis versus actuals, and the development of alternative scenarios to support strategic management decisions.
  • Monitor financial parameters and bank covenants by regularly updating key indicators, managing early warning systems to identify potential risks, and preparing documentation required by financial institutions.
  • Prepare periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders by developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs aimed at monitoring performance and supporting the decision-making processes of management and governance bodies.
  • Collaborate on M&A activities by providing analytical support in preparing financial documentation, developing data for business valuations, and managing information required during extraordinary transactions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Transaction Services (Big4) or Corporate Management Control roles.
  • Proven experience in the consolidation of financial data for corporate groups.
  • Strong knowledge of banking financial parameters and related calculation methods.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of national and international accounting principles.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced Excel (complex models, data analysis).
  • Experience with ERP and management systems (Business Central, Oracle SUN, or others).
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) and workflow analytics.
  • Fluent English.
